I don't think the WDK pole is adjustable. I really want something I can easily change both for setting up my ride position and so I can use it on a different hull if I upgrade eventually.

It was ~70lbs after defoaming but before hacking all the :-):-):-):-) out and off. I can easily pick it up and move it around now. Hoping to be under 80lbs with the tray/footholds/rails and all hull work completed.

I can get the ATP for $1050 with custom colors/chinpad and it is lighter than the ***. I know that *** has their new lightweight pole out now that weighs the same, but it is several hundred more and looks like a gosh darn abortion(first trimester of course, and the result of a legitimate rape)...
I'm trying to decide which pole to get for my F1 Pro... I really like the looks/weight/quality of the ATP pole, but I think the Xmetal pole might match the lines of the FX1 better and I can get them used for half the price of the ATP (no chance of finding a used ATP). Thoughts?

I'm wondering wether I should attempt to use CF for the rails or duplicate Scotts efforts. I would probably just use 4" or 6" wide 5.7oz bidirection CF tape. Any recommendations? Best epoxy to use?
How did I never see this before? I'm pretty much building the same thing, except without the lowered pole, but with wider/deeper rails, -2", and Tom21 tubbies. I have a Tom21 widetray, but I've been thinking about going with the BOB footholds as well...

Well, the F1 Pro has the pump set back 2" from the FX1 location and I've heard that makes a pretty big difference. Were the ones you rode set back?

I got the itch to build a new ski this winter after my riding buddy bought a carbon REV hull a month ago. I hate to be stuck riding a plain ole RN next year, despite having just spent countless hours rebuilding it from the hull up earlier this spring, when he is zooming around on a nice AM hull...
I use an Oneill Epic 4/3 surf suit for late/early riding in Ohio. Keeps my body temp quite comfortable with ~45-50 degree water and air temps. Usually don't ride in colder weather than that.
