Waveblaster 1 can’t tune high jet

Look for a sputtering broken pisser stream, that means there is combustion gas leaking into the jacket. If the stream is solid then there is no leak. Its common to see smoke from the pisser when no water is flowing. Its also common to see condensation on the spark plugs in certain conditions.

    Which One?

A Blaster pipe, no, I missed that part. It would be worth more than an engine overhaul depending on what crank was used.

Questions - 1 cylinder weak spark??

Typically solid core leads will break near the plug boot. Pull the boot off, trim the lead back a little, and pull on the center wire. If it won't pull out reinstall the boot and its fixed in most cases.

    Can I run 760 electronics on a 650/701 motor

The 760 ignition was designed to prevent burning a piston while running on low octane gas. None of the 650-760 OEM ignitions have enough, or any, retard curve. This creates a compromise between good throttle response and burning a piston. To get the most performance you must be sure about your...

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

Shady vendors are what Ive come to know as normal in the jetski world. A "really bad" vendor would be taking your money without providing anything useful in return.

    Which One?

Look at the condition and performance goodies. Both engines are old and potentially junk but can be overhauled for the price of the pipe.

Can one of you Tigercraft guys help me

All of them were designed specifically to sell. A couple of measurements would provide customers the most information. Can’t seem to get that from any MFG.

    Super Jet Superjet piston failure

Looks like it caught the ring at the center of the exhaust port. Look at the chamfer there.

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

Yes, as long as you use enough of it everything stays clean, at 50:1 it becomes a big mess. For the fledgling ski designers, measure a Superjet hull from the rear edge to the center of gravity with the rider on it. Add 25% and that is the planing area. You can shorten the rear in order to...

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

Yes, I have tested a few different types of bases over the years. Lubrication is the easy part, keeping everything clean requires either a very heavy mix ratio or a good additive package. At the end of the day I run my engines well in the safe zone and use whatever TCW3 I can get the cheapest...

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

I was generalizing since I've never heard anyone in the PWC world talk about engine lifespan and failure modes. Smaller and slower turning engines can last a long time. Bigger and/or faster ones won't. Rotax recommends 300 hrs between overhauls for their 580 aircraft engine and there have been...

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

If you keep the RPMs modest and the exhaust port narrow the typical overhaul interval is 300 hours. A Yamaha 650 turning 6000 RPM will probably run over 1000 hrs. The other extreme would be a superstock race engine. Its wide exhaust ports and 7800 rpm will need new pistons at 10X the normal...

When you become a really good wrench, skis will stay running without work for a very long time.

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

If you just want to flip, life is easy. Get one of the popular flatwater hulls with a big engine and pump. Thats all there is to it other than a little practice. You will be past your prime by the time you become an expert composite crafter. This is one industry where kids are the consumers...

    Solas 12-vane mag pump stator

I have a couple from 10 years ago that are the tight ones. I used a C3 bearing and used an installation tool. They are still running after 10 years!. This convinces me that everyone who had problems damaged the bearing during installation. Most of these guys won't do basic maintenance, I can...

Has anyone tried 3d printing a hull?

What are you trying to achieve with your design? Have you spent time riding many available hulls? What do you like in a particular hull. The sport has become so specialized now. Flip boats can do flips but little else. Race boats have become big heavy torpedos that can turn at high speeds but...
