RIP, back on topic- hood is symmetrical now and just a few minutes of finishing up some patches with bondo and its time for prime and finish sand and then pull the mold. the liner should be pretty easy and the nose will be a bit of work but not to bad. the back of the hood was the big holdup...

if its a stock prop that is reconditioned it should not be a problem. obviously it is not tightening down far enough to take all the slop out. a spacer will put the prop further away from the pump and that may not be ideal. n if it was previously "setback" maybe it was done wrong? or the...

why fix what ain't broke? at least you're legal. and if it works for a toehold then even better. you just asked so I answered. also mine is removeable so you can turf easier and or take it with to another ski whatever. plus there is still room for some other stuff like rope etc.

there are ways to mount the extinguisher on the ski so that really should not be a problem. I sell a front toehold that will hold it and other stuff, or some guys strap it to the battery or over it. those numbers are too close together anyway so you would still have been in trouble had you...
