I hate screws in a nice clean nose piece so I first tried bending aluminum to fit over the oem holder. prob is it broke a lot of the time. so now I epoxy a piece with bolts in it that stick down. and you can just install the nuts from inside and the oem screws. secret is out now.

I am not trying to bring things down, trust me I would hope only quality parts ever were made. just as an example, I am molding an fx hull right now. So far its taken 12 yards of mat, 1 yard of 10 oz cloth, 6 gallons of resin and 12 man hours to just mold the bottom of the hull. its not done...

lol that would be the banana option. on the rear of the hull where the exhaust outlet is, that portion is angle back. so the hull is longer at the bottom than it is at the bondline. in your pic the hull slopes toward the front of the ski. swing the bottom forward here- hull now /____ hull...

compared to the sj the fx already has a more abrupt rocker. problem is its very narrow, with tubbies that will resolve most of that issue. what you really need is 2 skis. that way you wont lose any riding time. and if it all pans out great you have a cool ski but if it flops then you didnt...
