I have also had zero problems with the long exhaust btw.

    Custom/Hybrid 2014 Hurricane Fiberglass

I have had better luck with versi plugs. You can't get the screw in ones though. There's no threaded holes. The duck bills leak so you have to keep your ski out of the water when not riding. Which isn't always possible for me.

    Custom/Hybrid 2013 Alaskan Hurricane Build

Ya I totally agree. The drivers weren't riders and had no v wake experience. I was going bigger yesterday off a single surf wave I think. But it still wasn't terrible.

Might buy a '14 superjet for $7k out the door?

Oh and you can barrel roll a stock 08+ superjet btw. Barely. But I've seen it. I like the idea of buying a new superjet. You could end up money ahead in the long run if you just keep it stock compared to all the repairs and maintenance on a lemon used ski. I know I had over $10k into my Sxr and...

Might buy a '14 superjet for $7k out the door?

I wonder what the shortest time any normal person with a normal budget has been able to learn to flip after buying his first ski. I have short summers up here but I still rode quite a bit and it still took me over two summers until I felt like I was ready to flip. Especially with a sj based...

Freestyle V Wake / Double Wake Backflips

Here is a quick edit I put together of me riding my Hurricane in the Big Lake Open Air double wake competition 7/26/14 organized by 106 Days of Summer on Big Lake Alaska. This was my first time hitting a v wake and trying any tricks so I was trying to keep it mellow and not hurt myself. The two...

    Carbon vs Fiberglass hull

How about all you nerds lose weight AND buy a lightweight carbon hull (gasp). Lol. I'm 6' and weigh 165. I'm not losing any weight like plenty of other dudes here. It's a stupid argument.

    Carbon vs Fiberglass hull

Carbon is also MUCH stronger and if built right will last longer and take more abuse.

    Freestyle Rrp pole wayer

Oh wow hmm. Ya all I saw was that you had a superjet which nine times out of ten breathe more than enough through the hood. So obviously that wouldn't work lol. I know you can make extra breathers pretty easy on Sxr hoods, what about sj? Or you could get an aftermarket hood with bigger vents (if...

    Freestyle Rrp pole wayer

Maybe try getting rubber stoppers the same diameter as the tubes. Drill/cut bypasses for your lines then wedge them up your tubes. Just like a stock pole.
