I like to take a small piece of waterline and slip it over the bolt threads. Zip tie it in place. That at least prevents metal on metal contact

2 questions. 1-How does the cooling line routing work with a non-jacketed manifold? 2-how is FP not getting upset about these duplicates? Not that I care just curious.

Do thread inserts, drilling the holes leaves very little material on the ears of the manifold.

I’d suggest tapping your manifold for dual cooling, but leaving your pump alone. A single cooling line from the pump will be sufficient unless you are running a big motor. That way you don’t take up both thru-hull tubes and can still use the stock siphon bilge which is very effective.

Could be fuel selector switch. Try bypassing it to see if it still happens. This happened to me while on the face of a wave (!!!) and after chasing the issue for a long time it ended up being a bad fuel selector.
