    Port Timing & Duration Specifications

Ive never dyno tested a cylinder this large. Im forced to look at dyno charts for large outboards to find max port heights for non tuned exhausts. They like to run below 180 degrees open. I know watercraft pumps start loading at higher rpm so they should be okay with a little higher exhaust ports.

    Port Timing & Duration Specifications

Okay, using triple pipes make perfect sense. My experience with untuned exhausts had me wondering how a port that high was going to work.

What should the running rpm be with 195 degrees open exhaust and a stock pipe?

Yes, its lack of parts and knowledge overall. This sport is very small and is barely surviving. It would take a big push and easy financing in order for Krash have a chance in the USA. Our "freestyle" vendors are careful to make parts so they can sell a little to everyone or a lot for the few...

    Other New pos krash ski

There has never been much technical information on this site. Mainly a bunch of kids trying to hot rod their skis. Most come and go without contributing much to the brain trust. I have discovered that I can do good testing and people will either not understand or want to argue the results.

Depends on your fuel budget. Cheap gas = lower ports. Expensive gas = higher ports. Then impellers need to bent to perfection.

There are some youtube vids of a Krash vendor removing the cylinder from a newer fuel injected engine. He was trying to illustrate how they held water and would freeze. I noticed the piston skirts all had damage from getting tight. This could probably be avoided with carbs tuned rich enough. It...

    Mild WDK ROK Build

The ROK is different than the typical A/M stunt hull. The bottom is narrower and it has a ton of lateral grip. Most others are wide and slippery. I think a 650sx has more grip than a Rickter. Making your exhaust port larger will help power and hurt response. It will be more important to make...

All large displacement twins, especially those with "freestyle tunes" are very fragile.

    First AR!!!!!!!!

The gun hobby has a flavor of the week vibe like everything else that is popular. People like to buy hardware more than they like to practice using it. Back when ARs were too expensive for the masses, they weren't modified very much. Now every 18 yo is mounting telephones, cameras, and rear view...

    First AR!!!!!!!!

With 55 grain bullets you will lose 170fps and its noticeably louder when comparing 16" to a 20" barrel. I was thinking more in terms of efficiency and practical use. I don't think many buyers see an AR as anything but another cool toy. As for cheap, it wasn't long ago a new SKS was under $100...

    First AR!!!!!!!!

The 5.56 has a little too much powder to completely burn in a 16” barrel. It loses power and makes a lot of noise. A non magnified sight makes it hard to take full advantage of the 5.56 range potential. Plus 9mm is half the price and it won’t damage cheap steel targets. Best of all, you can...

    First AR!!!!!!!!

I see a lot of dot sights and 16” barrels. I think a 9mm would be more efficient in this arrangement.

    Trying to move 701 engines

People who are looking to get a junk ski going to sell will tend to pay more for a complete engine. Anyone who wants a good engine knows you must start with a perfect crank. They don't come around very often in used engines although I did find a couple last year.
