I agree, but I have seen first hand on 2 skis the prop back off the threads. Not sure exactly why. It’s just another item on the list to check, and is fairly easy to do with just the intake grate off.

Check your prop when you have the pump off, I’ve seen them unthread from the driveshaft if they weren’t tightened with a prop tool.

Velcro on bottom of battery/top of tray will help it to not move. I use it on my antigravity batteries as well. Then it is not solely relying on the strap

The cylinders shouldn’t be full of gas, even if it was sitting for awhile. Sounds like maybe it has a leaky needle/seat. Or diaphragm has hardened and caused the needle to stay open. Be careful because when/if the Waterbox lid blows due to backfiring it is extremely loud. I had my head a little...
