Starting bid is the price the seller wants the bidding to start at. Reserve price is the price the bidding has to go up to from the starting bid before the seller is obligated to sell the item. They are 2 different things.

Give the guy a break. Thats what he wants to get for the ski. At least he is not playing the reserve game. If you think its to much or dont want it dont bid on it. To someone it may be worth that much. Personally I think its going to stay in his brothers collection for a long time at that price.

Dont want to sound negative but that doesnt sound like it to me. I hope that fixs it for ya though. How long have you been running this setup before these problems started ? Flip the piston over and look on the under side of the dome. Does it show any discoloring (blackening) ?
