I've done this, but I've taped the parts to the envelope so they wouldn't fall out. Shipping an envelope is cheaper than shipping a box, if you go through the Post Office. Plus envelopes are easier to find.

A 650SX is lighter than a Superjet.

A 650SX was my first standup, and I think they make a great first ski because they can be found cheap (around $600 for a decent one). You can't beat their fun/$$$$$ IMO. Replacement OEM and aftermarket parts are easy to find. Kawaskai made that ski for at least 7 years and they made a lot...
