the camping is definately what made that freeride so great. Daytona unfortunately just doesnt do it for me. Personally I wouldnt drive 20 hours to ride in crammed surf conditions when I could drive 10 minutes from my home and ride better surf with less people. Hanging out there would be cool...

lanier was by far the best freeride ever. Daytona is ok, but that many people in the ocean is just a chaotic mess. The campground, the hanging out and the riding was the perfect setup. Id love to see it happen again.
