    X games

To Wilkey and the OP... I am just not sure what you think people on a jet ski forum are going to accomplish. I have a full time job, a family, lots of :-):-):-):-) to do and more people on "my" water than I care for already. Why would I get involved in starting a movement to further some...

    issue with firefox

I love me some Firefox but their updates are driving me crazy. Half of the updates seem to be bug fixes for the previous version. I agree about Google. They are awesome.... TOO AWESOME.

    Towing ski behind boat?

There was another thread like this a couple years ago. I think I recall Matt and Nick collectively figuring out that a certain setup was better for the purpose of towing, because it wouldn't flood the ski. Unfortunately, I remember zero of the details. DO A SEARCH!

What’s the biggest surf you’ve ever ridden in?

I'm not sure. Two possibilities.... 1. Sebastian - about 4-5 years ago. There was a little sebby ride thrown together when I was new at PWCT. (maybe 20 people?) I was pretty much a surf noob and I was riding an X2 and I got rolled and chased and slapped down by waves that were about 1000 feet...

Any one up for riding some 30'+ waves?

I just read straight through the whole thing. It was great! You wrote that you would ride anything rideable by another skier. So, Taylor Curtis or Randy Laine, right? I am saying that for the average joe, which we almost all are, (when it comes to skiing) riding in conditions like the ones...

Any one up for riding some 30'+ waves?

Mat, did you drop acid this morning?? I can't think of anything else that would keep you so looped and yet awake all day! Did someone hijack your account? Seriously though, I hate to play the "kids card" , but..... you have a brand new one, so you MUST be just talkin' big behind the...

Just want to say HI to everyone.

Expect more bruises for sure. Knee bruises, shin bruises, ankle bruises, more thigh bruises, etc etc LOL I agree on the figure 8s. Very helpful in getting more nimble on the ski. Also, if you can throw out a couple of buoys to run around, they'll increase your comfort level quickly. They're fun...

    fixed steering conversion prototype

Ohhhhhh. Where the bar meets the hood looks like a potentially painful spot, but I see you covered it with something. What did you cover it with? Turf?

First trip to surf. What do I need to know?

LOL... The more you stay connected to your ski, the less chance you have of it landing on top of you.

    Graphic Ideas

Unless you're going to paint it red as LBE suggested, I'd leave it alone. Scottie Mac's designs are cool (I like the red one best) but I personally go for the blank canvas look.

Just want to say HI to everyone.

Welcome! "Keep your center of gravity low" and "throttle is your friend" = best pieces of advice for a newbie 550 rider. Also, don't give up! 550's aren't an easy ski to start with, but they are great skis to start with.
