ya, i had a spring rust apart in there, i made another spring for the contact
, but that seal is why is failed, works fine now, but won't take long for that new spring to rust
anyone know where i can find the start stop switch rubber button seals?? needing one for the lanyard switch. anyone happen to have some old junk yamaha switches they may want to get rid of so i can steal a seal????

that is not a hole, just where it sets around the exhaust in pipe, i'll take out the lock & snap a pic for those who want to know what it looks like, that's what these sites are for
