i have no idea what a scuppler is, but the rear exhaust tube on a sj is high on the bulkhead, so unless your boat is COMPLETELY full, it wont work. I had only front on my boat, used a supertrapp waterbox, wasnt any louder than a rear exhaust boat, and i dont mind the fumes.

you'll need about a 5mm stroker, plus porting, bpipe, dual 48's, lightweight hull, and just about everything else known to man to pull a flatwater backy. i dont know of anyone pulling a flatwater backy with a stock hull. I know its possible off a boatwake though.
