It's all nature so plan for the worst and hope for the best. There's usually something ridable that time of year.

7/8" bar stock works great with the 25mm ht padding but not the greatest idea if you think you'll remove your strap. I drilled a couple holes in the bottom for bite, scuffed everything up, laid some wet mat, added a little filler, and tapped them. Perfect so far. Probably could've been better...

Quit hatin'. We all know Virginia water is less dense so the buoyancy naturally protects you from hitting bottom. You just gotta watch out for those extra dense spots that suck the right side of the ski down an extra inch. :mischievous:

Haha, it's typical east coast shallow. Everything depends on tides and sand bars so it's good we'll have at least five blocks of beach to play with. No hotel lined up yet. :banghead: It's at the top of the list of things to do from what I understand.

We are at the mercy of the city for the dates. There is so much going on in the Fall that it was bound to conflict with something. Wish you could make it! Yep we will have rescue/security/lifeguards on site. :crutches:
