My freak is so rediculously stable that I can turn sub it completely under water and then jump it out from the sub with some impressive height and ride away. I bet someone with more skills and stronger powertrain could backflip or barrel roll out from a sub.
Anyone want to accept the...
I got a sss mounted bilge switch but it didn't come with bolts. The oem bolts are too short. I need to order some today and I am at work and can't remember what size they are.
Trying to help my neighbor by getting his waveraider running. It has been sitting for years. I pulled the carbs and cleaned them out and replaced the diaphrams. Everything else in the carbs cleaned up just fine. I also drained the old gas and changed the fuel filter. New spark plugs too...
I have a new WDK steering on the way and I am looking for a set of riser bars for it in the 31.8mm size. I'm starting to think that they don't exist. The least amount of sweep I can find is 6 degrees. I was planning on using the riser to adjust the length of my pole/steering a little bit but...
I have my motors running 195 compression and dialed in on 50/50 blend of avgas and 93 octane pump. I am contemplating buying a big drum of race gas and possibly saving money by blending more pump gas and less of the more expensive fuel to get the same octane and performance.
Somebody help me...
Tearing my motor down for inspection and new rings this year and noticed that one of my Boyesen three stage reeds isn't sealed on one side. It isn't laying perfectly flat like it is supposed to but is just barely open. Is this how they normally wear?
Harbor freight has 1/2 ton, 1 ton, 6 ton, 12 ton, etc.
I want to be able to press my own shiat properly. I'm tired of having to mail it off or take it to a machine shop. Especially with the length adjustments needed for aftermarket and funky project hulls I keep messing with.
Trying to help a neighbor get his two waveraiders going that have been sitting for almost two years. I know I need to replace fuel, fuel lines, and clean out the carbs. I did a compression check and one ski had 170 on the front cylinder and 210 on the rear. I'm shocked. I can't figure out...
This xs771 motor with 44 blackjacks has been a nightmare so far. No ones fault but my own I might add.
So far it has seemed lean and not tuned correctly. Then it sunk, hydrolocked and busted a set of reeds. Then it was discovered during continued difficult tuning that one of the fuel lines...
Bought one with this setup. Stock everything except bored intake with mikuni 38. It is waaay off. Any ideas on a starting point for tuning?
Help a brother out.
Eaxhaust coming out of one carb after getting water out of hydrolocked motor. Carbs were not right before this but reeds were fine when istalled two days ago for maiden voyage.
The last frontier of learning to do stuff on my ski is carb tuning. I just have never been good at it and I always end up with a buddy who does it for me. I know if it's right but can't really get a feel for too rich or too lean.
I'm trying to learn and understand it. I have read the...
I had a good used rn midshaft assembly that I had to torch multiple times to get the coupler off. Now it feels like it has a "catch" in it when I turn it. It catches five times per revolution. It feels like it is popping between the five positions when I turn it. Bad bearings now or would...
I finally got around to reinstalling the complete motor and total loss system from my BOB into my new used Superfreak hull. I had to create a new mounting plate for my msd dual channel total loss and in the process I have forgotten which coil went with which cylinder. Is there an easy way to...
