I used thickened epoxy but needed to screw them in "temporarily" to hold them against the hull until the epoxy set. Then i removed the screws and filled the holes with epoxy and ran a bead of epoxy around all of the edges and blended them into the body.... My ski was completely apart though so...

The three bearings in the middle and the one near the flywheel key all are quiet and smooth but the one next to the coupler that you can see inside is noisy and scratchy feeling... Do you think it's worth just putting a new bearing on it or should i just get a rebuilt from you?

so the question is, is it worth switching from a protec unit? I advanced the stator when I installed the new one.

I bought a SN superjet that had some spark issues, turned out to be the stator... but when I opened up the ebox it has a protec adjustable CDI. Are these similar to the MSD enhancer? Any benefit in switching to the MSD enhancer on a mild freestyle performance ski? Thanks!

Agreed! Honest too, my 61x stator was toast so I sent them a pic of it. He responded that it wasn't a good candidae for rebuild. Instead he sold me a rebuild one for nearly half the price it would have cost me to restore the old one!

Does anyone know off the top of their head what size the exhaust bolts on the 701 motors are? I bought a empty SN hull and a 701 motor didn't have any exhaust bolts installed. Thanks! Mike
