have a stunt hull, and there is about a 3"x3" square in the bottom that is spongy. how should i repair it? i can reinforce from the inside because there is a piece of plywood fiberglassed down as a fuel cell mount. could i just sand bottom and reinforce it? should i cut out the spongy area? or...

i have a stock 144 as well with a stubby cone and scoop grate, no cavitation and grate bottom end

Yea it actually rides really flat, probably cause the pole is so short as well. It rides well at high speed besides the spray haha

heres a vid of me messing aorund doing some setup wakes. thing is rippim pretty hard! love the way it handles, carves so easy and slides nice too. really nimble. not sure why the video is so widescreen.

filled the gap with "the right stuff" by permatex, and no more cavitation! thing rips!!!

Think I found the problem...haha could see through the seal, about a 3mm gap, gonna silicone it. Impeller looks prime

BTW if anyone wants to trades poles i need a longer one, mine is 35 3/8" from end of pole to center of bolt.

should i be looking at the rubber seal between the pump and shoe? or where the shoe meets the hull? theres no silicone where the shoe is lgued to the hull in the tunnel, should i add some? rideplate is siliconed on.

tested it, ran great, everything worked! felt so light and nimble and powerful compered to my oem hull. cavitates really bad down low though, like you have to baby it to get on a plane, then your fine. has a solas scoop grate, d cut ride plate, 12-17 skat swirl, blowsion stubby pump cone. engine...

yea the bracket is a blowsion billet one, the mount is raised some so it makes it look huge like an fx1 haha.
