I would do a heli-coil. Clean the hole with compressed air, a q-tip and some acetone, then use red/permanent loctite on the helicoil. After the helicoil is in clean any red loctite that made it to the inside of the threads using more q-tips. If you have time, assemble the exhaust 24 hours...
Water was fine two weeks ago. I wore a long sleeve rash guard for wind chill and was fine all day.
I will probably be ready to suit up this time since it looks like a max of mid 70's for air temp, but will try just the rash guard again first. The 3/2 is overkill but I'd rather be comfy than...
