sadly prices can vary greatly for whole skis... Florida prices are slightly on the high side.. but nothing compared to the West coast. stock or lightly modded square nose is gonna run you $1000-1500 in your area.. a heavily modded square might be a little more in the $2000-3000 range..

for beginner freestyle ski look for a 1990-1994 yamaha super jet square nose

I buy yamaha head pipes for all my skis whether its a kawasaki or yamaha.... that way I have more possible buyers when i decide to sell

only difference that I know of this that the base where the head pipe bolts to the manifold is roughly an inch thicker then the yamaha so if your having pipe clearance on exhaust manifold when running kawi head pipe... then switching to a yamaha might fix that...(yamaha guys cant run kawi tho)

a big pin SXi will most likely have dual Mikuni carbs like the SXR older 750s ran dual keihn carbs

dual carb does NOT mean its big pin a big pin will have 12 intake bolts where as a small pin will only have 10..

the current plate im running i chopped 2-3 inches off of the other plate i bought of MattE when he was selling his carbon rocket last year... Its the long plate still shrink wrapped in plastic from Krash.

pretty sure you should be running resistor plugs that compression is very high for a 550 piston port motor... I would look into running at least a 50/50 mix of race gas. also any oil stamped with TCW3 rating will suffice... i mix 44/1 but you can do anything anywhere between 40/1=50/1
