I mounted mine 4 1/4 inches back from the end of the gunwale/bumper , flushed them out and they fitted and work like a dream...

Guys , I had to give my new b-pipe a good trashing with a hammer in order to get it to fit without fouling on the engine mounts and the side of the hull. Will the aluminium chamber deteriorate if I don`t repaint the "modified" areas.... ?

Update... ! I got it sorted , and for future reference the waterbox pipe needs to be cut by 7 inches. :)

Guys , i`m hooking up a b pipe and not sure how much to cut off the hose that joins to it and goes to the stock waterbox . The instructions and diagrams that came with it seem to be for a superjet , not the fx1... Can any of you with a b pipe remember how much you cut off your waterbox pipe...

I have adjusted the timing screw to the max , what was the factory rev limit setting , on the old cdi unit... ?

Hey guys , wiring up an msd ignition , and not 100% sure about a couple of connections... 1. does the brown wire on msd connect to the brown/white striped old wire and 2. does the white wire on msd connect to the white/red striped old wire... ? Also would there be any need to...

Blowsion sell a " screw on " steering cable extension piece , as part of their fx1 pump conversion kit. It will extend your cable by a couple of inches , I reckon they would sell this part on its own....

Hey guys , I hope to install a b pipe in the near future , replacing a protec exhaust system. Can I install same without having to remove the engine. What`s the procedure...... ?

Guys , need your advice. I love to get my fx1 underwater as often as I can , diving and nose stabbing etc. I have twin bilge pumps fitted. But wonder if I can improve on the factory fitted plastic carburettor cover to let the air in , keeping the water out. My current setup is working fine so...

;) Ok , you line up the front of the tubbie 4 1/4 , inches from the rear edge of the purple front bumper , shove it up tight against the bottom of the bond line , mark it out , drill out the bolt holes , repeat for the other side and that's it....

Hey dudes , have any of you an idea as to roughly how many Superjets have been sold since its launch way back in the 90`s ..... ???

Sponsons (tubbie destroyers) will make your fx1 more predictable and less inclined to buck you off when you least expect it , but if anything will add to its nimbleness and encourage you to push it even harder with confidence , nothing like a superjet.....
