I've liked those X2 batteries as well. I think the warranty is 2 years. I had to use it once and the other 4 have lasted 4 years with no care needed. A couple are getting weaker now but luckily I am reducing the fleet and they will get sold with the skis or I would probably replace them as...
Not quite. Mine would only do it under load. If you beach it, it will instantly rev fine all the way to the rev limiter. Even in the water it's not really breaking up like that. I sold it to a buddy that has more time for it so hopefully he'll knock it out soon and I'll update what it was.
Good luck. Sounds like you have the right mindset and know how to communicate with people. You can definitely accomplish it if you keep with those qualities and keep your frustrations at bay.
Well dadgum. 21st century and nobody has figured out how to make pretty fuel line. Except maybe Cold Fusion. What about cooling lines?
Sorry for the thread jack but it looked like you were pretty well figured out and it seemed related
How long has anybody used RKO motorsports stuff for? I've got some red for a return line on one ski for about a season and it is pretty close to the same color it started. It still feels good too.
Not really figured out yet. I decided to get it running for Daytona and just swapped out the entire e-box for another one that was good from a seller although never tried personally. When I went to start it, the Start Stop Switch wasn't working. I swapped it for another good according to the...
I do all of that. I'm just impatient and by the time I get it wet out, I've got too much resin and it leaves a little pools in the low spots. I can and will do better on this hull, I just was thinking why not step up even more and use some carbon.
That's what I usually use for reinforcement, but that cardboard tip is a good idea. I always end up with to much resin pooling in the strakes or wherever I am laying it.
I sent him a PM as well considering it is his hull. The hull is glass and that does make sense, but it is so lightweight right now and I want to keep it that way. It just has a little more flex than I am comfortable with.
My FX just got a ton of new stress cracks from Daytona this year and I...
US Composites has 5.7oz x 50 inch wide , 2x2 Twill Weave Carbon Fiber for sale in the discount section for $27.50 a yard and then again as 1st Quality in the regular section for $41.50. Then an ebay seller has what looks like the same one for $22.00 shipped.
I'm not concerned about looks or a...
I know nothing about this case or California, but I know it took me over a year to get money out of a bounced check for $2,000 to my business and about 4 months to get about $1000 from an old roommate that decided to get the entire deposit from a rental sent to him.
Hopefully it's not cold, but...
Very good point. We've aleady got it in motion though and it would definitely be a benefit to have the main ride spot right next to the camping spot. We can always go back to the original setup easy enough if any issues arise.
