I had spacers behind the impeller, a larger volume /bored nozzle, and no scoop on my intake grate. Loose as I could get it. Pitch was on the higher side of 144 pumps, 14/19 . It was more of a "WaahhPOOW!" than a "BRAAAP!"
Plug your manifold and let that pipe eat. I've never seen a pro pfp ski that was injected. My pump gas, stock stroke 900 with a 144 pump in a 2013 backie chan would combo easily.
My friend had his knee replaced in January and has raced every AJSA race this summer. When I had my ACLs replaced, I couldn't stand to put pressure where the incision was. Only way to get over it is to just do it though. Eventually it didn't bother me.
Mine was set up for SJ mounts and i also wanted to use couch mounts because I have several. I used a 60grit flap wheel to get them close and a belt sander to finish. Didn't take long. The difference was about 1/8".

Looking good! Those seadoo boats are pretty fun. Once you're in the air, pull your heels to your butt. It'll tighten your mass and make you rotate quicker. It'll also leave you in a good position to power out even when you come up short. Come up and we'll make fun of each other until we land...
Used a b pipe on the first one along with the kv tank and battery tray. It was fairly easy. This one gets an RRP pipe and rad dudes tank which required 9 new inserts.
Yes, on one I left the kv midshaft assembly in. On the other I removed the shaft and pressed it into the yamaha housing and used yamaha couplers. If you have a midshaft holder tool it may be easier to swap that one. If not, you can put the rear piston at TDC, rotate crank 90 degrees towards...
I've done a few this spring. Couplers are interchangeable. The KV midshaft will fit in the yamaha bearing housing and bolt right up too. Motor just needs some 1/4" plates bolted in and tapped where the SJ mounts go. SJ ebox mounts. Inserts for battery tray.
Sad indeed. I have some clean used 90mm pistons here. Maybe everyone's favorite youtube machinist/dyno tester could make sleeves? Did you try emailing xscream?
I remember that year at world finals when lee stone rode the Japanese ski at body beach. Everyone was like "Holy $#!+", including...
Swapping the motor is easy. $95 conversion plate from watcon. $39 ebox mount. $85 for conversion coupler. Then everything bolts right up.
To swap to a 750 pump it gets pretty expensive If you don't already have the parts. You'll need a pump/impeller, X2 driveshaft, conversion mid...
