Turfing your bumper rails completely destroys the handling of the ski. It makes me cringe when people do it on surf skis and lake skis. Flatwater boats are an exception.

They have officially now outlasted 1 Deka. Deka's are good strong batteries but I'm not a fan. When they get dropped too low, they never hold charge the same again.. similar to a lithium battery. It's being replaced with a Battery Tender battery.

what ever it is, i'd check your squish.. there is enough oil / fuel & oil to possibly bend a rod (hydro-lock) a motor if your battery is good enough.

Yes. We recharge after every 12 to 16 starts but they aren't close to being sluggish and still read 13-13.2 volts after that. We just prefer to not let them drain too low being lithium batteries for longevity and we don't need them to go any longer.
