You can use most of the parts from your 61x ebox- just get the 760 ebox plate and cdi rubber sleeve. The rest of the internals will work minus the obvious stator

Why do you take offense to me asking you if you’ve ever run this specific cdi and 760 electrics? No I didn’t measure my angle myself- yes I relied on someone who I trust and knows more info about this stuff.... if I blow my motor then that’s on me. Relax.

Have you run one of these yet? Angle is 56 if I remember correctly. Runs smooth and stable per Wax curve at least with a few people going years on these boxes with zero issues. We run 0 degree static and advance through software.

Who has had success with fitting one of these in their a/m hull? Any pics would be awesome, also I can’t seem to find a single picture of a side view of these tanks... I’m trying to see how they sit and at what angle...
Thanks

Thanks guys- as far as how it feels now, it just lacks the bottom end hit out of the hole- not terrible, but not quite as expected. However that can be related to a number of things. I’ve had a lot of changing parts recently so I’m still getting a feel for the setup and how certain changes...
Skat prop and yeah it measured high as expected. On paper I wanted to start with and repitch to10/16, but I through it in there as it was since my nozzle was huge. I can’t imagine going lower now since I imagine it would make it worse. I think I need this 11/17-12/18 to compensate. Guess I’ll...
Since I found it was 90mm, I run the prop as close to the veins as possible and I started with the stock pump cone. And the pitch is 11/17 but close to 12/18 in the gauge. So I’m trying to make it all seem bigger to compensate for the large exit nozzle. I might try another nozzle to compare and...
Yeah I figured bigger isn’t always better- gotta be a point where it’s working against me. I am looking for all bottom end and don’t care about top speed, but still.
I did have this same nozzle on my 144 Solas with JM760 and 9/15 prop and it was very snappy off the bottom. But it always kinda...
I’m running a Solas 148 pump now with 11/17 prop and an RRP reduction nozzle/trim kit. Not sure what this reduction nozzle diameter is when stock, but mine is at 90mm now, oddly with the steering nozzle only at 86... I just measured it when I upgraded to the 148 pump. I’m going to open that up...
