Is the 781 that much better then the 735?

So my knowledge of things is basically in the 550 and the 701 realm. Are replacement parts comparable as far as price and availability is concerned? Also I'm looking to have a lake/surf ski. Not a only flip ski. Also do you have a link to the engine?
