Just ride it. If it breaks, get an aluminum one. I'd go with XMetal, lighter and cheaper than RRP and look better on SXRs. I think you've got a year or 2 before you will break it on flat water depending on how much jumping you do and slamming it on the hood. As far as handling....SXRs handle...

I would put 4 or 0 degree handlebars on it to move you forward. Besides that, it all depends on what kind of riding you want to do. jump? carve? top end? bottom end? freestyle? Give it some time. The SXR is the MOST stable standup out there. Get some hours on it....and you'll be fine.

Monkey, you will have to set up a pick up time. Everybody is going to arrive at different times...not sure how you will pull that off.

You can't dodge this ice yet. Lake Erie In Cleveland. Matt S. was riding his dirbike on it. I guess in Mentor it is still 8 feet thick and you can walk to Canada according to satellite maps.
