I agree. A tool-less design so you could stop riding, change the roost (probably just on or off) then just start riding again. Would be rad.

We talked about this right away when making our first nozzle, then we watched a few videos in action and I guess we were less excited after that. I would like to do it though.

Nozzle and steering cable adjustment is crucial for sure (for longevity of the cable and the nozzle). Also, tying down a ski certain ways can put a lot of stress on a nozzle. It might even just come down to poor material consistency in the nozzle. No matter what it's so fun to experiment with...

After a while we saw a couple unmodified nozzles break too, so it was disappointing. It was interesting because some colors seem to be extremely strong and other colors failing, in the same material. So consistency wasn't good enough in this application. It definitely can be strong enough...

Don't ride wet trails? What do you mean? I live in northwestern Oregon, trails are wet at least 8 months of the year! :)

We used Prusa MK3S (buy here). As far as the material I just start with a PLA it's the easiest to print too. Geometry is more important that material selection sometimes, so make it out of the cheap stuff first, and upgrade material if it's failing you. PETG is also pretty easy to print and is...

RSKI expanding into video making and giving away free stuff!

Unfortunately due to the beach being closed we've had to postpone this years event. The beach might be open this week, I'm not completely sure, but it's a bit too late for everyone to plan. We will have a new date soon once things are a little closer to normal! See you all soon!

It's great to have support from all of you guys, I also don't want this thread to turn negative as well (towards anyone). We will try and work towards bringing the nozzle back, but for now we're working on vinyl graphics projects and remembering to enjoy life. RSKI is a hobby to bring new ideas...

Unfortunately we removed them from the website because we had a customer modify one with a grinder to make it fit a Thrust trim on a 155 pump. The nozzle broke and he was pretty upset, created a FB post and the energy was super negative. It doesn't fit what we are trying to do with the nozzle...
