I have an ADA head that was torqued to spec (slightly beyond). I have a new JM735 that's in the process of being broken in, and after my first tank of 91 w/32:1 gas, I realized that my compression was low (150) so I ordered a new o-rings and reinstalled the head. I did notice a very small amount...

The JM735 ported is pretty wicked. I'm in the break in process, and only short bursts up to 3/4 throttle is a significant difference. You can get a whole kit to bolt on to minimize down time...

Could be an exhaust leak. I've had skis that run great. This has happened to my Superjet and a few buddies Kawasakis. Runs great when air's flowing through... But stop or slow down with the hood on... Chokes until the fumes are cleared.
