so after thinking about it a bit i decided to go this route only took a couple hours drilled a hole in the pole and one in the hull and a blowsion spring
thanks for all the ideas and pics
yeah i can see where the pinch bolt set up can be a pain the pic that kohl post shows easy access to the spring but no breather tubes iam sure with the breather tubes that will be pain as well
another option thanks for sharing i would like not to have to take pole bracket out to change spring so far kohl set up is looking like what iam going to do
suoerfreak pole spring looking for ideas whos using one and which are you using and which pole i had the stainless one that sjetrider use to sell with exmetal pole but it broke and i cant find one of those so looking for other options pics of set up would be great thanks
lookimg good preston as far as the straps i just doubled up on the two inserts between tank and water box and the short strap goes to the the battery stray
the foot holds are not hard to install what was tuff was the turf cut it myself they are water craft factory foot holds make a template for the foot holds first
i did the 144 mod a lot of work but well worth it ground stock pump shoe to 130mm anymore than that and you will have to do glass work also widen tray and installed foot holds
thats what i was thinking of doing but its alot of work just seeing if there was a easier way and i want to stick with yamaha pump the ski is no fun with all the cavitation i guest it will be a winter project thanks for all the input
does anyone know if you can mod a 144 pump shoe to fit in the fx1 also do you know how much can you grind on the 122 shoe before going thru
has anyone installed the 144 pump with the 122 shoe and did this stop the cavitation ? thanks
