Snowmobile guys...where you be getting your parts?

Buy OEM or Gates only. Last thing you want is a broken belt to take out your clutch. Figure out your part number and do a google search. I have had good luck with eBay and depending on brand, Babbitt's or Country Cat.

State of the industry - 2021

My buddy has a set of the ET carbs on his 967 and they hit hard. The thing I don't like about them is the external fuel pumps and of course the $$.

2019 BAM Gen 2 full carbon hull for sale. Joe widened this hull, extended the rails, and changed their angle compared to the Gen 1 hull to get better cornering. This will flatwater flip and 360 but is also great in the surf or for boat chasing. Never seen saltwater. Only ever been in MI surf...

    SOLD

Mounts are SJ spec from JetManiac and were only used to mock up an engine placement/alignment in a hull. Been sitting around a year. $130 shipped. TL flywheel for Zeel setups was lightened and balanced. I mistakenly let the bendex washer fall into the flywheel area during assembly and ran the...

    Crazy Joe's BAM V2 build

BAM hulls are great all around hulls. I was able to start flipping mine towards the end of the summer last year. If you have any questions when you get to swapping parts, let me know. Glad to see she is back in Michigan!

When you buy on Ebay, don't be fooled.

Over the last several years I culled my tool collection of most of the Chinese/Taiwanese hand tools I had and replaced them with USA and German made tools. Some stuff from Japan also. Its really hard to find USA made hand tools, regardless of price. Its been a slow process but I am happy with...

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

How do you like that Beta? I have always tried to find one in the wild to take a ride on but no luck in Michigan so far. The KX was a real basket case. I have a few tanks of fuel through it but its not my main ride. I'll either keep it parked in the corner or sell it. It was just a project...

Other What did you fab up today? A thread for the home fabricators!

I welded up a stand for my buffing/polishing wheel out of scraps from the shed. Sick of chasing it around the bench when using it. I never hard mounted it as I didn't want to give up the bench room. Tested on the swing arm of a KX I just finished restoring. Bonus points if you know what the base...

What are the symptoms of a leaking PFP chamber?

Yea, I figured I will give it one more shot. Pretty sure I overheated it the first time by running with clogged strainers, so I removed those. We will see . . .

who makes pro-k arrestors and do they have a warranty?

I don't think mine are shedding metal yet, I'll have to check tonight, but the very ends of the plastic 'vortex' are missing on mine. Perhaps 1/8th of an inch. I am assuming they mixed well with 110!
