Yes, sounds like the pump is tight.

Buying a big motor will make it much easier. If your setup is properly tuned it will flip a lightweight BAM no problem. Flipping off a wake is way easier for learning. Good luck!

A well tuned 650 runs awesome, once you start swapping 750s and 800s in the price starts going up fast.
