i got a nice engine coming from jetmaniacs. I'm looking to paint flywheel cover and intake manifold and riva red pipe. I plan on using high heat auto paint for the pipe. What's the best paint for flywheel cover and intake manifold? Same stuff? Thanks.

I took carbs completely apart. changed seat, checked jet, clean very little debris out of filters. ordering some new diaphragms and Jetmaniac is sending jetting for his motor I think it was a air leak or not a good idea to increase compression on 20 year still stock motor..

I've been trying to figure mine out as well same pipe. Mine averages 6540. I tried drying the pipe out and lost the low torque . I still also have to tune the HSS. (but having other issues since I forgot to put gas cap on and rode it) Sola I impeller. I don't think the riva red pipe is designed...

Not sure which fixed it, the new seats, vforce reeds, gaskets, adjusting low speed screw 1/4 turn. Already sounding like a beast oh the hose on the trailer. can't wait to try it out.

From experience, I'll add aftermarket pipe screws loosening allowing water from pipe into hull. But that would be minimal compared to other issues.

Just another five star purchase from jetmaniac. Got new parts for the blaster in like two days including a sat. He got that stuff to me so quickly with great prices and great technical tips. He has really taken care of me. Thanks Again

My plan is to replace seats in carbs and test with pop-off to make sure not leaking.. install new vforce reeds since mine weren't sealing closed.. use new gaskets to see see if that was the air leak(most likely since gasket was ripped) and retorque ADA head ... Then let 'er rip to see what she...

Does factory pipe have a recommendation for taper bore carbs? I haven't seen one post and a billion forums of jetting for taper bored carbs

took the intake manifold out and definately the front reeds don't seal close. I can push them closed. It's just a tiny bit, but I can feel the difference between the front pair and the back pair.
