    Crypto

I'm not an investor. It's too much like gambling. My risk tolerance is very low. I've missed out on a lot of opportunities because of this. My thoughts here probably are worth as much as the stocks I didn't buy. Crypto is money. It's like buying Yen with USD. Money is like a stock. Buying Yen...

    2023 Daytona Roll Call!!!!!!!

I'm going but I haven't ridden much this year. Not sure how the ski or I can perform, but will give it what I got.

What killed the forum? How can it be revived?

I haven't been here as much because I got injured. Some people moved on but not everyone sold their skis. Also the superjet went 4 stroke. Over 70 pounds heavier and a price increase. You can't go finance a cheap 2 stroke anymore. Low supply, high prices. Can't find a junk superjet and a junk...

    Custom water dispenser idea??

Yeah. In FL near the shore, all we get at 50ft is salt or sulfer.

    Custom water dispenser idea??

I think one thing missed here is that this is in my dining room. If I have 20 or 30 guests over, kids birthday or whatever, fridge dispensers and 6 bottles of water don't do the job. Also, the 2 - 5ga jugs I have a kept through hurricane season. The setup works as is. The cooler holds like...

    Custom water dispenser idea??

This set of 6 is $25. I could run 2 lines in the top, 1 flush and the other going to the bottom, and put them in cap first so the flat part is facing out. That could be a really good option. All 6 is about 0.8ga. I wonder what kind of fittings would work best to put 2 1/4" tubes into the lid...

    Custom water dispenser idea??

I just thought of bottles, and it turns out I can buy them in copper. I could maybe use something like these. 1liter each. $60 for 3, $100 for 6. Then I'd just have to put a fitting on the top and the bottom to connect them. I would be able to take the caps off and clean them out...

    Custom water dispenser idea??

I have a water cooler that uses 5ga bottles, the same as you would see in an office. It's setup as a beverage area in our dining room. This cooler is next to a beverage fridge that holds soda. I had the idea of getting rid of the water cooler and instead using this...

    Blaster 2 carb questions

I rebuilt my superjet carbs with SBT kits. I couldn't get the fuel pumps to stop leaking. I put the old OEM o-rings back in and it stopped. I got some WSM jets and they didn't even have the sizes stamped on them. Make sure you are not just putting parts in them. Make sure they are at spec, if...

    Has anyone made a shuttlecraft?

In FL, a shuttlecraft doesn't require a registration. The ski pushing it covers the requirements of the registered vessel. The down side is that as a ski, it can't be used at night even with navigation lights, which for my intent, wouldn't matter. I'd also be looking for something that my beach...

    Almost disaster

Be careful with a lanyard too strong. They can get wrapped around the bars and drag you.

    Has anyone made a shuttlecraft?

Bump because I never did anything with this and I am still interested in the idea.

    X2 waterbox and snb 44

I have not run this exact configuration but consider a SJ waterbox with a B1 outlet between the battery and the carbs. I think the stock boxes lack a high point except the header elbow and is the reason so many of us have running issues (water ingestion and weak bottom end). I did run a SJ box...

Anyone using a flatbed trailer? (Salt)

Aluminum trailers are also probably square tubing and have rubber caps on the end of the tubes while galvanized trailers are often I-beam design. The Aluminum trailer frames probably hold a lot air themselves.

Anyone using a flatbed trailer? (Salt)

Exactly. Can you post a picture of what you come up with? I agree, but I haven't seen any stand up skis on flat beds. I wasn't sure if there was some reason I might be missing other than cost.

Anyone using a flatbed trailer? (Salt)

I have a galvanized jet ski trailer. Standard dual setup for 3 stand ups (2 and a B1). I was thinking about going to a flatbed utility style. But it would see salt. I can't see a reason why it would be an issue to use a flat bed aluminum trailer? Might need to replace the axle with a galvanized...

    650/X-2 X2 restore.

So is the problem you have the wrong cable or the right cable installed wrong?

    650/X-2 X2 restore.

Is it possible you have the wrong cable or it is not symmetric? It's possible they put in a steering cable instead of a trim cable?

    Bondrail underside tips and tricks???

I don't know if I should give this a thumbs up for being good info or a thumbs down for telling me about something I can't have!

    Bondrail underside tips and tricks???

I do 3D print tools for stuff like that. Not sure if you have ever considered it, but it's nicer than wood. You can easily print a custom radius or a complexed curve. I used Fusion 360 and a XYZ Davinci Pro 1.0 printer.
