Scuppers close when you stop moving(forward). Hence the engine wouldn't be running, unless you have neutral or reverse on your stand up. Scuppers should be open when you're moving to let water out!

I did it again! This is the third or fourth year where I rode each MONTH in Wisconsin. It was 50+ the past two days here. Had to cut out of work early, sun goes down at 4:30.

I got the jack shaft and driver shaft pulled. The chain case bearings were extremely gritty. I ordered all new bearings for each shaft. The clutch side driver shaft bearing was the only bearing not seized, gritty, or crunchy in the entire drivetrain! For the skid I ordered all plastic wheels...

Finally going through my skid to replace bearings, wheels, and slides. Almost every bearing was crunchy, and the back three 7" wheels were completely seized up. Pulling the jack shaft and drivers next. I'm learning all about snowmobiles and loving it.

No "New" rider can out ride a stock 700cc+ stand up. There is too much to learn at first. It's like watching a BMX guy ride Moto Cross. You don't need horsepower to be good, just flow.

West marine came with a pump for each when I bought them. My latest order of Total Boat did as well. How long do you get pumps to last?
