Quick update: laid carbon on the sides and the nose/pole bracket area. Trimmed the excess carbon. Drilled the holes for the pole bracket and mounted the pole to mark out where to cut the hood. :) starting to take shape!

Thanks. And Yup that's the plan, gonna modify a stock hood to be lower and sealed. Yet another project on it's own lol.

OK so here's the weekend update! Happy with the progress :)
First I reinforced the rails underneath and along the bottom deck. I was really worried because I saw cracking after only minor riding last summer. So I made a super concoction of cabosil and chopped glass and made a large fillet in...

Update: Cylinder walls were scored and pistons touched the domes (even though squish measured correctly when I put it together). Either way the motor was bored out 84mm, honed, new Pro-x pistons, rings, wrist pin bearings, etc. Bolted the motor together with the new @JetManiac ADA head and...
Here they are. Not as bad as I originally thought but not great. Two pedals are chipped at the tips but the chips don't touch the sealing surface. Would you guys change them out? Or say screw it and run em for the season?

Well i have no idea how many hours are on them but based on the condition of the cages and rust on the screws Id say they easily have that much. That being said I presume it would be in my best interest to get new ones?
I read somewhere that you could flip them but I honestly have no idea...
I'm sure this has been posted before but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have a gap in my Vforce reeds on most of the pedals. The gap isnt horrendous by any means, id say less than a mm on each on but Im wondering what the limit is on these and if I should replace the pedals or try to flip...
Yes actually that's a buddy of mine lol. I was just curious of any other ideas people might have. Im trying to avoid buying a pole as I've sunk so much money into my ski I don't want to drop another $500-1000.
