    A1 SUPERCROSS TONIGHT

Well since Stew isn't lining up, its really anyone's race...........;) I would expect KR to run away with it and RD to be on the box, but something is telling me ET3 isn't going to start off as strong. I think Webb is going to be up front if he keeps his jersey clean.

    Time for a new hull

When you get this new ski built, you better head up to Peoria this summer and help me chase some boats. We've got a few flipper skis you're welcome to ride.

    From dirt to water

Air Blair is from Michigan. We've got a hand full of riders down in the Peoria area with a/m skis and sj's. We also ride up in Morris near Joliet. There is a pretty decent stand up scene there as well. Where are you located?

    Freestyle Fixitman's Flatwater Build

Lay up 2 carbon panels that can be trimmed and epoxied to each side of the pump box to support the tray directly under your heels. Fit pink board insulation up and around your scupper tube and exhaust, then add a little pour foam through the tray. Was the lightest/ strongest combination I...

    Custom/Hybrid Y don't peps use B2 shoe 155mm in a new hull plug?

C'mon Jeff, don't give up yet.. Guys assemble their hulls just like tuning their motors. Listen to the hull builder = Listen to your engine builder. Also, a handful of the a/m hulls run their own shoe/intake system. A better suggestion would be to ask for everyone post pics of their a/m...

    Freestyle Fixitman's Flatwater Build

I'm gonna throw my guess out there of a top deck weight of around 16lbs and a 4lb hood. Screwed, glued, and tattooed will bring it to about 48lbs ready to bolt on the goodies. What is your guess @air blair??

    Custom/Hybrid Y don't peps use B2 shoe 155mm in a new hull plug?

I prefer to run the heavy, crap casted JD shoes in my ultra light hulls.. How much different are those b2's? btw...you sure those front fender flares are gonna come out of the mold still attached to the plug? Looks a little drafty. Digging the Xmas colors too

Custom/Hybrid the -HAMMER- with a touch of carbon

First off, thanks @EvanKrefski. Since you mentioned you previously rode a micro, it looked like you had no problems adapting to this powered knee board with handlebars. It is entirely different from anything that was built from a superjet platform. Most guys can't get past that in a couple...

My wife wouldn't let me buy an AM hull

You should have your wife out there helping you. After about a week, she'll be on the pc helping you pick out your new hull. On the other hand, you're gonna learn a lot of skills that can be taken to other hobbies in the future.

Custom/Hybrid the -HAMMER- with a touch of carbon

As for a few more pics of the ski itself and a few ride pics, here you are. This is one of my favorite pics caught this summer. Our riding area in the Illinois river is full of boats anytime the sun is out. And here we have some kid name @EvanKrefski taking it for a spin at Wave Rave...

Custom/Hybrid the -HAMMER- with a touch of carbon

Here is the gelcoat waiting to be glasses over after it reaches the tacky stage. Again, I didn't take many pics of completing the molds or the layups, so I'll throw a trick I use in for you. I cut a piece of 1/2 pvc and create my own inlet port to infuse parts that lack flat spots for the...

Custom/Hybrid the -HAMMER- with a touch of carbon

Ok. So maybe I can throw a few foothold build pics up to give a little wintertime inspiration to some of you composite jockeys. First you start off with a good set of fireman boots. Keep in mind that your finished part has to come out of a mold, and your foot needs to kick in and come out...

Custom/Hybrid the -HAMMER- with a touch of carbon

Thanks. You must have been bored to dig up a year old thread. Haha. I rode the hell out of this thing all summer and it never let me down. I upgraded to a 155 mag pump and built new foot holds to start the year off. I also designed and built a carbon exhaust chamber, but did not finish...

Post Pics of your tray and footholds.

Here's a few pics of my custom shoe sockets. I designed the tray to be angled so I could still adjust the footholds without having to deal with moving wedges. These last couple were from a ski we built for @SomeDonnieDude a few years back.

    Xscream steering problem

When I first installed my xmetal steering on my ATP pole, I used oem steering bushings as the ATP mounting hole is the same as an oem pole. Quickly found out that the xmetal bearings didn't like the added friction of the oem bushings, and it also gave less threads with the added thickness. I...

    3D printing molds/plugs

Guy on here by the name Dalton 3d printed an entire top deck, glued it together and made a plug. Not a lot of details were given, but I'd imagine it still took a bit of effort to sand and prime before making the mold. The 3d prints I've seen are pretty porous and would definitely not release a...
