I have run dual 44s for years with an r and d manifold on my 61x. Ported it this year and know nothing about tuning. It run great. Biggest difference between it and my single carb setup is it pulls up top harder.
Ringlands are melted. I would say some serious heat buildup. I have run a 180 psi limited setup for years and never lost a piston using 91 octane and riding it like a raped ape. Dual cooling, the right tune, and make sure rpm and timing are gtg.
My old 650 was stock with stock foam and sank a few times like a rock! If my superjet didnt have the power it did it woulda been a gonner a few times. Dont let it fill up with water!
