    Super Jet Porting and polishing/compression

Im sorry to get into your thread but it got me really interested. I purchased not long ago a BB engine from a reputable builder ported by another reputable builder. Motor did not run right so I measured the squish and compression (with snap-on) and turned out to be 220 on 36 domes and almost no...

Super Jet Can you use a spring with a RRP lowered mount?

Cut the OEM just a little so it doesn't stick out of the tension block and it gets super nice and dandy.. :)

Is it really worth the $700+ dollars for a lightweight pole?

RRP pole is prettier than OEM pole, therefore it adds 14 horse power to the concept :). If you get the anodized red carbon looking tubes you gain instantly another 6HP right there.

Super Jet Worx intake grate differences

I bought both 201 and 228 intake grades for my 2010 SJ for the same reason, I wanted to see whats the difference. There was no difference in my opinion. In theory 201 is supposed to be more aggressive than 228. They are slightly different in shape. Go with 228 as its made for post 08 SJets.

    Super Jet Hood Straps

I agree with that 100%. ratchet for the straps to prevent the hood to come apart and stock latch for stability on the hood sideways. Thats the only 100% safe way IMO. I had the plastic clips on my SJ and when I over tighten the straps the clips were getting unlocked...
