Can it be done? I am tired of my stock fiberglass box and will be upgrading to a roundnose soon so I don't want to invest in a aftermarket sn box. Any insight?

I have a brand new pipe on the way and was wondering if anyone knows the best adjustment for the screws to be set at? I've read fp's write up on how to do it but was just curious if someone may know a good setting to save me some time that I can adjust it to before install?
Starting to undergo my kawasaki 750sx conversion with a yamaha 760 engine. The hull is totally completed and I have a couple questions.
1. What prop should I run in the 750 pump? Stock sxr prop?
2. How should I do the exhaust?
Is a prop tool needed to replace the stock prop with a stainless one? I got a deal on a brand new Jetlyne 17 degree prop and I haven't started the work yet. Any tricks to remove/install the props on the old skis?
My back 2 screws for my ride plate on my '86 js550 were loose and I removed it to find that the threaded pegs? came right out of the hull with the screws. Any ideas on how to fix that?
