Thanks for the responses. So I guess at one point Xmetal did offer a bushing style steering system. This is from about 6 years ago: http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/new-xmetal-stuff.33535/ I can't find this steering system on their website anymore. I wonder what happened.....not much...

Cold-Fusion is out of the equation....OEM bushings don't fit on this pole. Is there one that fit? What are you running? Are there other option for the X-Metal pole that don't use bearings? Thanks! Benny

Good eye....there is one area that has a "bubble" but it's not that bad. The trailer reflects the light and makes it look really bad.

Second level is done too. I carry 2 fold up mattresses so we can sleep more people if needed. I would not have more than 2 couples or 1 couple and kids. But the real idea behind this is that I can carry my skis below, and sleep at the top if necessary (say a long trip) I still have to test this...
