Yes. At full extension on my pole that puts my grips right over the lip of the hood / hull. This is a rec ski, I don't want to be bent over. Plus all the holes were misaligned witb the pole bracket. I'm going to try both variants and see what I prefer.

So after being told what a pinch pole was, I sealed off the old holes, and moved it 3" forward. Those holes were drilled off center and really annyoying, so I plugged it with an old license plate and silicone, aim of the game is get out and see what works before I do glass and paint. I just...

Yep. Sealed the front ones, redrilled for the slightly further back pole mount. The holes weren't centered and it was very annoying. Wife had some spare pool hose, just gonna run that up into the pole and we should be good. Need to borrow a hole saw tomorrow and we should be ready.

Any ideas on how to seal these? They've been drilled off centre with the pole mounts. I'm not sure what the parts are called I would need. I think I only need one of those hood grommets, and I'll block the other one up with some neoprene, unless anybody else has some better ideas.

Interesting, I need cable seals anyway so don't think I'll be getting out today.
