Looks good! +1 on fixing the epoxy and drilling the returns. Use JB weld tank weld. I drilled the returns just so they’d stop getting clogged. Mike, are you actually going to run that battery? Are you going charging system?

FWIW, xscream did a flywheel for a while with an aluminum ring gear. It worked well from what I’ve heard. You can harden aluminum and make it work. Clearly not the case here

LS10 isn’t on your list but it’s most affordable and best bang for the buck IMHO
