i did keep the old stuff as a template but am afraid that wrapping the turf around and under will cause problems. looks like sergio bends the turf to conform to theoutside edge of the holds as well. if i mess up the turf then i have to redo the foam also and the foam was a pain enough already...

you guys with the single bracket and rule 500 bilges. which way do you run the water outlet......under the coupler or to the same side as your stock pisser location. it looks like a tight fit behind the coupler and I am concerned the if I do it one way the bilge hose will rub the coupler and...

xft weighs less. you would probably get an xmetal quicker though.

according to colorite, who is a supplier of factory color paints, the 98 and 99 have one color code, and the 00-03 and 08 have another. here is their website. my friend has a 99 and a 08....way different colors. http://www.color-rite.com/

me too.....i actually almost had my 08 painted black but thought that it would be retarded to paint a brand new ski. my last ski was black.

the 98 and 99's were a different blue....they were more of a light bluish blue. maybe that is what you were seeing.

i just found this out and wanted to update this post incase some one else comes across this wondering the same. Yamaha color code is the same for the following years. 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008.

Were there any other years besides 08 that got this blue color. I know the 98 and 99's were a lighter color blue but how about the other years leading up to black in 04. thanks

coming unglued from the ski while going inverted is why i now have xft holds. i kept coming out of my kickers which felt dangerous . now i will have to train my self to never let go of the bars because my feet will probably want to stay. trading one risk for another i guess.

ive got a carbon plate on my 08. I bought it in stock length but ended up cutting it level with the back of the ski like on pre 08 models. i have not ridden with it yet but suspect it will ride fine. it is a 24/7 brand. my buddy also bought one that was d cut for his 08. we hated the way...

08's do have them. i think it might be an addition since the hull is a little bit wider through that area than past years.

i need to know how much too. I will need enough to cover 2 footholds and a front foothold in blue diamond.
