Got it fired up

For F**k sakes we’ve been chasing our tail the last 2 days trying to figure out why it backfired so violently it split the water box at one of the seams. Turns out 2 of the pins on the stator plug were backwards. Finally got it to fire correctly and made a few bangs before we decided to call it...

Well here it is folks. The big bore 951 X2 ! (997cc). Engine is in and cranking over, gonna throw the map on the zeel tomorrow cuz we had some technical difficulties, fingers crossed for the first start!

Now here comes all the fun!

Brand new steering cable with a little modification for the setback 148, and everything sealed up on the bottom. Flipped it back over and ready to wire up the zeel tomorrow. Engine cranked out 150 psi which is 25 over stock, so I think we are in good shape! Getting very excited!!

Chiseling away! LED light strip wired in to a motion sensor just like my 750 X2 for better lighting inside the compartment. And another single led tagged into the coil for an easy quick glance to ensure the coil is firing at any given moment

Bang bang! 148 pump installed & sealed ✅ Along with the custom driveshaft. Don’t mind the cheesy intake grate. A scoop grate will be going on soon. Making more progress inside the engine compartment. Lot of stuff to tuck back in there, bilge pump & siphon, rectifier, starter solenoid, air fuel...
