I run amsoil with a 40:1 mix. The only problem is the oil is almost clear so you have to make sure you only ever put mixed fuel in the can.

The blockoffs for the 650 location. Can those be plates? or does the blockoff have to have the protrusion for volume purposes?

I just picked up an SBN44 to run, the BN came in the bins so I figured I would try it. As for the prop, low end power = low degree prop more or less. This prop is all low end.

I like the setup, 9/17 has a lot of get-up-N-go and the toploader keeps the pressure on in chop. I havnt had the chance to ride many other setups but I like this one.

Then assembly began

Then built the motor right from bottom up. New seals/rings/gaskets all around. Thought about building the 830 Big bore kit that came with it but i'm waiting for a separate bottom end to build it on.

I picked this ski up on St Patty's day. Bought 4 bins of parts from various skis including one "full" 650. and an empty hull. Started off with some fiberglass work/filling. Then sanded a BUNCH to prep it for paint.

You might loose a coupe mph in perfect conditions but nothing serious. I love mine, keeps the ski hooked in small chop.

800 as far as I know, I ended up building the 650 engine. I figure ill have this ski for a couple years with a superjet in my future.
