I have powder coating equipment but can't fit one of these in the oven. If someone really wants it powder coated I can find out what that would cost from the local guy. We were just trying to keep cost to a minimum and that will obviously add cost.

Just as an update... We are still coming along with this project. We spent a little too much time this weekend working on the lathe and not enough time working on the pole. We have just about all the pieces cut out, just need to finish the top plate and we should be able to start welding...

I was actually thinking about doing that if I can't test it here. My brother lives in Vero so I could ship it to him and he could meet up with someone. He has a SN superjet but this first one is going to be for a RN.

Front is leaner than rear but looks good, nice and brown rear is a little rich and the rear high speed screw is in half a turn more than front screw.
