Just got the holds mounted yesterday, cut the foam and just need to reshape the rear to my satisfaction. Footholds are 19.5 inches from the toe to the back of the ski, and looking to get at least 16 inches at the narrow point minimum.

Is it normal to find spider cracks in the SMC around the motor mounts on a 10 year old hull? They are only on the inside, and I'm thinking I need a layer of glass down there now.

Found some stuff at Shucks auto parts yesterday that looks like its made from the same stuff as Hydroturf, but about 3/8 thick and interlocking. Its 2' square and comes 6 in a pack for $15, has a moulded diamond plate looking finish. anyone try it?
