Just went through the same process. I went through the tray. My inserts were fine but 2 of them broke loose frome the Hull. I used gflex epoxy and cloth to reattach inserts and I also made some plates to help spread the load out

I use a velcro strap off one of my ebox mounts. Tow strap is now where the extinguisher was, that was just there for inspection.

Industrial strength velcro strap with the 3rd bolt for ebox mount ran through it. I dont ride with the extinguisher just had it there for fish and game inspection to get a HIN. I use it for tow strap now

I used the CF bracket since it was easier to line up and mark the holes and I dont have to try and hold the ebox on the inside while trying to get bolts through from the outside. Either way works but I had already paid for the bracket so might as well use it haha

Which one? My xfs has an rrp pipe( I should have specified that) so no head pipe and on the edge I mounted ebox a little to the right on firewall to give more clearance between ebox and head pipe.

I used the CF ebox mount on firewall in my edge and I used UFO inserts on sidewall above exhaust manifold on my XFS

I have thrust trim and my cable rubs on the bolt to. I thought about using a low profile allen bolt for more clearance but haven't had any issues so just left it alone

Have you tried a different pump or measured the shaft to make sure you didn't accidently get shipped the wrong length? Could it possibly be a shaft to fit an oem 155 pump?
