I think the performance will outweigh that in the long run, but you are not wrong! But it would be nice to pare our troubleshooting flow chart down from Fuel, Air, Spark to Power.
LIke i said, price needs to come down, and tech advance a bit maybe. But Plug and play batteries like you slap into your drone are the future imo. Same as what they use on the new electric jetsurfs, just bigger/more power.
I think electric is the next evolutionary step for freestyle.
We ride for short periods of time, 20mins tops usually and a comp run is 2-3mins and the on demand torque electric motors provide is insane. Price just needs to come down, which it will over time and then we can slap a tesla wheel...
Yep i never noticed the issue on the DVX till the bottom of my pump was flat and there was a hairline fracture there. I glued turf there like you said to try and bumper it. And when i went to the PS hull it was less gap so figured it would be ok. APPARENTLY NOT...
About half way through my ride last Sunday felt like i lost about 20-30% of my power, no weird noises or anything but just felt off. Started going through ski yesterday to double check everything and found this.
Kinda spaced you were still doing that TBH, you've kept it pretty low key. Once my MSD brain is worth 40,000 schmeckles due to being unobtainium I will hit you up about getting a setup =D
If MSD is no longer a option going forward I am hoping you Big Brains get moving on a kit to adapt zeeltronics on the 66E. WDK and TJ i believe also use 66E on their motors so this "could" be a profitable area.
Looking for a good used OEM. I know i can change out the casing and use 62t internals but I believe my case is bad and caused this starter to fail early.
